Kyojuu Tokusou Juspion premiered on March 15, 1985, as part of Toei’s Metal Hero Series. It follows the previous series, Uchuu Keiji Shaider, and continues the trend of space-themed hero dramas. Juspion, also known as “Jaspion” in some regions, brought a fresh take on the Metal Hero genre by combining elements of tokusatsu and mecha with a space opera narrative.
